Oxygen-poor blood from body tissues enters the heart from the (1) and the (2) . The blood flows into the (3) , through the (4) valve, and into the (5) . When the heart contracts, the blood is pumped through the (6) valve and into the (7) to be taken to the lungs. At the lungs, the blood releases carbon dioxide and picks up oxygen. The oxygen-rich blood flows back to the heart through the (8) and into the (9) . When the heart relaxes, the blood flows through the (10) valve and into the (11) . When the heart contracts, oxygen-rich blood is pumped through the (12) valve and into the (13) .
From there it is moved through arteries and arterioles to all the body tissues. The (14) separates the two sides of the heart.
